"CrossFit Total"

Deadlift, 1 rep

The CrossFit Total is the sum of the best of three attempts at the squat, the press, and the deadlift. All three lifts are done while standing on the floor. You will have 15 minutes per lift to find your 1 rep max.

Then Tabata Row for distance. For twenty seconds ROW as fast as you can - then rest 10 seconds.
Repeat this seven more times for a total of 8 intervals, 4 minutes total exercise.
The event is scored on how far you rowed.

Here are the results for the Kettlebell competition from last Saturday:

Rich used 2 35lb KB's and went for the entire 8 minutes, completing 51 reps.
Mike P. used 2 26lb KB's completed 40 repetitions.
Israel used 2 35lb KB's and completed 40 repetitions.
Laura used 2 17lb KB's and also went for the entire 8 minutes and completed 59 reps!

Nice job to them all. Next competition details will be posted soon....

U.S. Marine Corps Sergeant John Rankel, 23, of Speedway, Indiana, assigned to 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1 Marine Expeditionary Force, based out of Camp Pendleton, California, was killed on June 7, 2010, while supporting combat operations in Helmand Province, Afghanistan. He is survived by mother and stepfather Don and Trisha Stockhoff; father and stepmother, Kevin and Kim Rankel; and brothers Nathan Stockhoff and Tyler Rankel.

This is a practice/warm up for tomorrows event which begins at 9am and ends at 11am.

WOD

The following exercises
Box jump 24/18
Sit up
Double under

Will be done in 1 minute, 2 minute and 3 minute sets with a 1 minute rest between rounds for 3 rounds. Only one exercise will be done for each set. And you can only do each exercise for a total of 6 minutes.
Example:
1 minute of double unders
2 minutes of sit ups
3 minutes of box jumps
rest 1 minute
1 minute of box jumps
2 minutes of double unders
3 minutes of sit ups
rest....
1 minute of sit ups
2 minutes of box jumps...etc....

You may do any order you like, but you HAVE to have an equal amount of time for each exercise.
This WOD will be scored by TOTAL# of reps done for the 18 minutes of work.
